Sugar & its Health Risks
In our world today, excess sugar is added in everything; cereal, peanut butter, popcorn and DRINKS. Companies do this because it is cheap, and it makes everything taste amazing. Unfortunately, this much sugar is horrible for our health. Having this much sugar can lead to obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. And to make it even worse, it is highly addictive. Once you start it can be so hard to stop, just like caffeine. If we are being completely honest, it is really a drug. So what can you do to avoid all this sugar? Easy, just check the label! There are so many great alternatives to your favourite food or drinks that are lower in sugar! For example, at Iced Out Tea, we make sure to put the least amount of sugar possible. Although at first it will be hard to make the switch, it will most defiantly be worth it in the long haul!
